Most facilities are now non-smoking. If the facility you are visiting is non-smoking, then you cannot smoke anywhere in the facility. This may include the parking lot and even in your car when you are parked in the parking lot. In addition, most facilities have become non-smoking for inmates. Even if the facility does allow inmates to smoke, you cannot send cigarettes to your loved one.

Typically persons 12 years and older must provide picture identification. Check with the facility that you are visiting to confirm what the required age is to provide picture identification.
